Kambo, an emerging e-commerce brand, partnered with us to refine and modernize their online store’s visual identity. With a strong focus on earthy aesthetics and a product-first approach, Kambo needed a fresh, balanced look that stayed inviting and aligned with their brand ethos.
Project Scope
We were responsible for the full front-end design execution, focusing on both color scheme redefinition and layout refinement. Our deliverables included:
- Revamping the UI design with new brand colors to reflect a calm, nature-inspired vibe
- Introducing color splotch sections and product modules that maintained visual clarity
- Updating category and hero sections with subtle shadows for depth
- Modifying the logo to use a softer red, per client direction
- Creating two distinct light and lighter UI versions to support A/B testing or seasonal theming
Color strategy played a pivotal role, using tones like Fresh Green, Golden Yellow, Deep Navy, and Neutral Beige to balance vibrancy and calmness throughout the store.
Challenges Faced
The project required careful attention to color psychology, user experience, and clarity. One of the biggest challenges was preserving a clean, product-forward design while incorporating multiple brand colors without overwhelming the user. Another was building a layout that could remain flexible for promotional content without compromising the overall visual balance. Creating two fully functional versions with nuanced variations in lightness—while excluding red except in the logo—required precision and design restraint.

Our collaboration with Kambo resulted in a refined e-commerce experience that brings their products to the forefront while staying visually consistent with their brand values. The updated color system and layout not only improved clarity and user engagement but also laid the foundation for scalable UI updates in future seasonal or promotional campaigns.
